The variety of forms of life in the ocean has always fascinated painters and sculptors, researchers and princes. Porcelain designer Stefanie Hering from @HeringBerlin was inspired by it in 2014 to create an almost iconic collection.
For "Ocean", fish, shells and jellyfish were painted by hand in strong blue on white, velvety biscuit porcelain, biologically absolutely precise, but at the same time aesthetically stylised. Each individual motif is subtly matched to the shape of the respective plate, cup or bowl. The inspiring decor harmonises with all kinds of food; for gourmets with a penchant for seafood, "Ocean" is a must.
